You need to change your "From" and that will fix your problem. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page. Under “Management”, click General Preferences. Right at the top, in the “From name:” box, enter your name how you’d like it to appear in the "From:" line of your outgoing messages. Example: “Sally Tiptoes”. If you want, you can also adjust the email address to which people send messages when they click “Reply”. If you leave the “Reply to:” field blank, your Yahoo! Mail address is the return address. Specify a different return address by entering it after “Reply to:”. Click Save to put your new settings into effect. Note: “From” can’t contain special characters like the "@" symbol. I just recently got married and want to change my last name from my maiden to my married last name on yahoo mail. The problem is that when I send someone an email, in their "from" it still says my maiden name. How can I change this so that it will say my married name when I send someone an email. I changed my signature but I think that just confused people more because it have two different last names. I have tried to play with my settings on yahoo but no luck. Please help!

I don't know what mail program you are using. I use 2easy Office's mail program so I would just go into my account settings, select the mail address in question (2easyOffice allows you to have more than one mail account), and edit the name on the account. HTH.
