Why My Some Important Mail Go To My Spam

Why is some sent mail going to spam sometimes instead of the inbox?

The most important think that you should do check if your emails SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records were properly set or not. (you can diagnose your domain here)Unfortunately, there is no 100%, foolproof, guaranteed way to stop someone from marking your email as spam. However, you can lessen the chances by careful collection of emails and staying up to date with how recipients are engaging with your emails. The first step is to review how your email addresses are collected. Did they sign up to receive emails from you from an online form. Did they sign up at an event? There needs to be some sort of intent to receive emails from you by the recipient. Proof of a recipient's intent lower the chances of them marking your email as spam and if you are questioned about your collection practices due to SPAM complaints or other deliverability issues, you can show that you had the recipients express permission.Next, when your email campaigns are running regularly, be sure to monitor and maintain the health of your email list. Understand what kind of emails recipients are reacting well to and take note of the ones that are not working. As long as you make sure that each recipient is receiving the type of content that they are looking for and find valuable you shouldn't need to worry about people marking your email as SPAM.I think you need some steps to follow, in order to not be marked as spammer. You need to have your list of emails double opt-in (that would be the best for you and your campaign reputation);Find a good ESP. You could look up MailChimp, Aweber, SendGrid and some others. In this way, you can see which one suits your needs better;Identify your target audience,so you will not send out emails with content not relevant for those customers; Segment your list.Keep it simple.Pay attention at what and how you say things in your emails, because you could trigger the spam filter with content, attachments, images or links.Keep monitoring your campaign. The last, but not the least important, is to verify your list of emails with an email validation.

Accidentally clicked spam for important email, how do I undo this?

Yahoo itself will not block spam if they receive a single spam notice. First go to the spam folder and if the mail is still there mark it as not spam. Make sure the address is not in the blocked address list in spam options. You should also add the address to the address book to be safe.

I accidentally marked all my important messages as spam instead of just deleting them.?

For New Yahoo Mail:
Go to your Spam/Bulk folder, check if it still contains the email that you spammed. If it's there, mark it "not spam", that returns it to the Inbox and removes the block against the address.

For Yahoo mail classic:
open the email to find the Not Spam button.

If it is no longer in the Spam/Bulk folder, do this:

for New Yahoo Mail go to options -> mail options -> spam, for Yahoo mail classic go to options -> block addresses.
For both mail versions check the list of blocked addresses which shows numerical order first, then alphabetical order. When you find the mail, mark it, click "remove block". Now you can get emails from that person as before.

Are my emails going into your spam/junk folder?

They could be. The only real way to know is to test send your emails to what is called a ‘seed’ email address. In email marketing a company may have several seeds which they do not regularly mail to. They’re simply a fresh gmail, hotmail, yahoo, Comcast etc. they periodically send tests to them, login and check to see how they inboxed. They’ll also do a header check for errors etc.Glock has a nice app for this and our team has one we developed just for our use.

Why does Gmail treat emails from my domain as spam?

If you sign up for Gmail Postmaster, you’ll get a better understanding as to what’s going on. They give you IP reputation, Domain reputation, Spam percentage. Here’s how they determine what goes to the inbox and what goes to spam. The most IMPORTANT factor is IP reputation. With high IP reputation, you’ll hit the inbox more often than any other factor. Without “High” IP reputation, as Google calls it, you’ll never hit the inbox. Not once. The second most important thing is your domain’s reputation. As you start mailing better quality, it will increase first. You can have High Domain reputation and Medium IP reputation and you’ll NEVER hit the inbox. However, you CAN have High IP reputation and Medium Domain reputation and you WILL hit the inbox. That’s really all it boils down to, the quality of your IP reputation and nothing else. The troublesome part of the equation is repairing your IP reputation. We’ve rehabbed IP space in as quickly as a week and as slowly as a month. It really boils down to how much damage the previous mailer did. If you are seeing 5xx errors in your mail logs, you can reach out to Google and tell them you are a new mailer, hold onto the IP space for roughly 30 days and wait for a reset or get new IP space. We offer an IP warming solution that handles all of this automatically: IP Warming Service for Email Marketinghttp://ipoven.comOur simple, yet effective, service will get you back to the inbox as quickly as one week (or as long as one month in the worst case situation). We send transactional emails through your servers. The messages that we send are positively engaged (ex) message moved from the spam folder to the inbox), thus increasing your domain and ip reputation.

Why do some emails appear in the spam folder and not in the inbox?

Gmail automatically helps identify spam and suspicious emails by detecting viruses, finding patterns across messages, and learning from what Gmail users like you and me commonly mark as spam or phishing. If you find a message wrongly classified as spam, you can unmark the message. Just select the message, and click the Not Spam button that appears at the top and bottom of your current view. Unmarking a message will automatically move it to your inbox.Tip: Add a sender to your address book if Gmail constantly sends the email from the sender to SPAM.More details can be found at:Spam and suspicious emailsLegitimate mail is marked as spam

Help, e-mail from "FedEx", went in spam folder!?

Those emails went to your spam folder because they are spam, of the nasty, dangerous type.

FedEx did not send those emails, a scammer did. Those "attachments" contain a horrible virus, trojan or keylogger. Delete them immediately.

If you google "fake FedEx email virus", "fake UPS email trojan", "fake DHL email keylogger" or something similar and you will find hundreds of posts from victims and near victims of this type of scam.
