Could Nano Bots Stop Drug Use

Are nanobots possible in the near future for medical use?

There are a lot of R&D related to nanobots but don’t expect any magical products and solution within the next 10 years. This is a tedious and gradual process with very promising progress but without any magical solutions. This is a nice article summarizing this topic: The life-saving future of medicineLet’s align on what nanobots is.It is nanoscale (below hundreds of 10-9 meter) machines or robots - that might be autonomous or controlled. It is a very promising field of research in nanotech - spreading from medical to military applications.See a few very cool example below:More in my previous answers:Daniel Fishman's answer to How could nanobots be used for warfare in the future?Daniel Fishman's answer to How much will nanobots revolutionise medicine in the next decade?Reed more here:Nanorobotics - WikipediaNanobots | Nanorobotics | Micro Robot

What is nanomedicine ?

Well, nanomedicine is a part of nanotechnology. Actually, it's the appliance of nanotechnology in medicine. For example, nanomedicine research is focused on using nanoparticles and devices which can help in curing many diseases such as MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, etc.

Is misoprostol detected in bloodstream?

i am not aware of any standard tests to detect misoprostil and am not sure why someone would want to confirm or refute its presence. However,if for example it were a medico-legal issue, it is possible to identify most drugs that are within the bloodstream, this would in the case of misoprostil need to be done quite rapidly as its half life is only about 20 minutes.

Will nanobots play a role in the treatment of mental disorders?

Someday nanorobots like a device i envisioned in a paper or a (NCRL) nano channel robotics laboratory may be introduced in the body. The Artificial intelligence controlled (NCRL) will travel around the body using ferro screw magnetic pull or have internal flagellum propulsion like a sperm cell It will contain sensors finding and thwarting off illness and releasing particle size drug treatments directly into affected cells and organs. This will help to keep the body functioning correctly and keep hormone levels normal. These mini sub like devices will quietly monitor all bodily functions with tiny blood sensor arrays, tissue arrays and use multiple drug particles channels to treat or stop mental illness before it causes problems. They will also contact doctors and other professionals when needed.

How much closer does this new advancement put us to medical nanorobots?

Here is an extract of my recent paper:Problems with NanomedicineIt is almost certain that future rejuvenation biotechnological therapies will depend to some extent upon nanomedicine. However, the state of nanomedicine in the present and near-term future remains problematic. There is little information about these new materials and virtually no useful data on their bioaccumulation or toxicity. Environmental impact remains unknown [52]. The use of nanomaterials in bioengineering is being hampered by a host of unknown variables [53], for instance, unwanted neutrophil activation [54], vascular toxicity [55], inflammation ([56], and lipid peroxidation [57].References:[52] Linkov I, Satterstrom K, Corey LM. Can superman get cancer?

Generally, Superman's powers keeps him from getting sick, and will quickly heal him in case he sustains injuries.

He has been infected with Kryptonite nanobots which created a tumor in his body. The Atom helped get rid of it.
