What Tourist Attractions Are Along Interstate 77 Between Cleveland

What is it REALLY like to live in Atlanta Georgia?

I like what 'guitardannysoccer' wrote!

I moved here as a single mom because I thought it would be a more wholesome place to raise my child, than NYC. I found wonderful apartments with a lot of amenities -- pools, gyms -- for a fraction of what I would have paid back home. There were many more day care centers (some good, some not-so-good) and every creature-comfort a person could want. It didn't matter to me that it's hot and humid in the summer: every place is centrally air conditioned, and again, there are swimming pools all over the place!

As far as the job market: unless you're in a sought-after field, don't bank on instantaneous employment. It took me over a year to find a crummy job that I never would have accepted at home. (I was a little spoiled; I had a great resume and never had problems finding work in NY.)

Racism? I couldn't tell you. Atlanta is predominantly black but I think it's still here -- like in many places -- to some degree. I worked for a large insurance company that held its annual picnic at a plantation. An African American friend of mine nicely and reasonably asked them to look for another venue; "too bad" they told her....

All in all, I think you can forge a good life here. But you really should come down to see things firsthand, before you make up your mind.

Where is Guyana located? What is this country like? Is it worth visiting?

Hmmm.. Guyana. Well first of all I live in Guyana. It is loacted on the northern coast of south america. It is a nice country to live in. It has many tourist attractions like the Kaieteur Falls(correctly spelt), its many monuments such as 1763 monument, the cenotaph and much more. It has a lot of nice resorts also. It is a nice country to get away from stress and just relax. It is great for eco-tourism. It has alot of amazing animals in its rainforest(a major tourist attraction!) such as the jaguar, the anaconda, howler monkeys, and much more.
Its a really great place. I would advise everyone to come!
