Will USPS automatically redeliver "Notice Left" (Business Closed) package?
We attempted to deliver your item at 10:38 am on January 25, 2014 in SOUTH JORDAN, UT 84095 and a notice was left because the business was closed. You may arrange redelivery by visiting http://www.usps.com/redelivery or calling 800-ASK-USPS, or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice. If this item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later. Do I need to reschedule the redelivery? I don't have the pink slip. It was attempted on Saturday by the way.
Does USPS Automatically Redeliver?
The USPS will not automatically attempt to deliver. You must request redelivery. You can go online and request it, or if you have the notice, fill out the back of the notice and leave it in your mailbox. If the notice has the telephone number of your PO, call them and request redelivery. The only service that used to have automatic redelivery was Express Mail and it no longer has it.

It's sitting in the post office waiting for you to pick it up. If you can't make it to the post office you can call them and reschedule the delivery. If you don't have the pink slip you may have to show them some form of id to confirm your identity.

Ok. In order for your package to be redelivered correctly you need to look at the back of the notice and choose what it says to do... Leave the notice outside your mailbox so that the mailman will see it. So lets say you leave the notice tomorrow. The mail carrier takes the notice, brings it back to the post office and will bring your package on the following day or on a day you specify...

We don't automatically make any redelivery attempt after we have left a notice. If a signature is required, you must be there at the time of delivery, so if this needs a signature, you can request redelivery, but make sure you're there all day, as there is no guarantee of delivery time. It would be better if you went to pick it up. If no signature is required, you can either call and ask for redelivery, or leave the slip in your box where the carrier can see it. Check the area on the reverse of the slip that is just for this option, be sure to write down a place where the carrier can leave it if it's too big to fit in the box.

My package was supposed to come on Wednesday. I had told USPS to delay my mail until Friday. Today is Friday and I'm wondering if it will arrive today or will I need to schedule a redelivery? USPS Tracking says that a Notice was left. Please Help! Thanks.
Does USPS redeliver parcels?
Ok so I got a little note on my door saying that they had missed me. It says that they redeliver, but will they redeliver my parcel? Or do I have to fill out the form for it to be redelivered? If so, can I personally give the mail man the note filled out?? (My dad has the keys for the mailbox and he leaves for work very early)
